Kara also invites Winn to her thanksgiving since he didn't have a place to go which he gladly accepts. Alex feels she is too critical of her for not protecting Kara (Liza didn't know about her working with the DEO yet). Meanwhile Kara is busy preparing for thanksgiving as her Adopted Mom Liza comes to visit for the holiday abd it becomes clear her and Alex have issues. During a lightning storm their coptor goes down and Supergirl intervines but while she is trying to save her Kara accidentally created Liv Wire when she gets hit by lighting causing it to be channeled through her and into live wire eventually giving her electric powers.Cat Grant pays for Liv Wire's room showing she does care under all her seemingly uncaring attitude. Cat Grant says she can't do that anymore and when she refuses she punishes her by turning into a traffic reportor in a helicopter. Much like in her original appearence she is a radio jockey who slanders the name of anyone in the red S this time Supergirl.
This episode see's the debut if my favorite Superman villains into the show, LivWire. I am not sure when or even if episode 4 will air. A/N: Due to the paris bombings the episode that was supposed to air was replaced with this one because it delt with bombings all across national city.
